Seven Ministries

1. Administration Ministry will seek to maximize the effects of this ministry that will best serve the needs of this membership, in areas such as the church office, human resources, finance, purchasing of materials and equipment and in building enhancement, for the protection of its members, etc., in that we will be professional and more importantly a spiritually minded ministry
(I Corinthians 14:40).
2. Christian Education Ministry is responsible to provide systematic spiritual training through biblical education for all ages and both sexes. Christian Education staff will offer classes and training sessions in teaching, lesson preparation that will aid the membership of all ages in their growth in the Lord. The Christian Education will also coordinate special activities for children and adults, such as; Sunday School, Youth Camp, Youth Ministry, Teacher’s training, church material, Vacation Bible School, Covenant Partner Class, Advanced Bible Study (II Peter 3:18).
3. Evangelism Ministry, in accordance with Matthews 28:19-20, this ministry/church will engage in reaching the lost, wanderers, and the hurting for Jesus Christ. The Evangelism ministry will serve in areas such as; Evangelism, Taking The Streets, Seeker Follow-up, Guest Care, Altar Workers and Intercessory Prayer.
4. Fellowship Ministry will encourage and provide the means for developing meaningful relationships among believers with expressions of sharing and caring for, and loving one another, warning, stimulating, and encouraging one another to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24-25; 13:1-2; Acts 2:42-47). The Fellowship ministry will serve in areas such as; Women of Worship (WOW) and Men of Honor (MOH) Conferences, church events (i.e. .anniversary, family reunion picnic, etc.), hospitality, and special events (i.e. health fair, exercise class).
5. Mission Ministry:
IN-REACH: The Mothers and Elder statesmen Ministries (men and women over 65 yrs of age) and Deacons (I Timothy 5:1-2,9; Titus 2:1-5; I Peter 5:5)) will have the responsibly in seeing that the covenant partners are cared for at all times, through calls, visits, and study groups. (Acts 6:1-4).
OUT-REACH: This ministry involves helping people in and around the neighborhood, in an emergency (fire, flood, food etc.) Also provide (when possible). To set up G.E.D. classes and college level courses. To offer Moody, Precept or Stairway Ministries classes for this area. Also this ministry will engage in “P. S.” (Prison Support) to families with family members that are incarcerated.
OVER-REACH: This ministry is the aid and recruitment of missionaries here and abroad, through housing, letters, and gifts, so they may be able to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ
6. Pastoral Care Ministry will advise covenant partners of this church and all that is recommended in the areas of Pre-marital, divorce, lost of love ones and personal finance. This ministry will prepare leaders for this church, along with Pre-covenant partner and Discipleship classes in coordination with the Director of Christian Education, Covenant Partner Leadership training (Deacon, Elders, Ministers, and Trustees), advice ministries (i.e. Drug and Alcohol Abuse, general advisory services, marital parental, single, etc.), weddings, funerals and safety and security. The Pastoral Care Ministry will enhance the believers in their faith (Ephesians 4:11-16).
7. Worship Ministry will provide the means for developing and expressing meaningful worship in prayer, songs of praise, adoration, admonishment, singing and making melody in our hearts to the Lord. The Worship ministry would oversee the areas of greeters, ushers, praise team, praise dancers, musicians, drama, audio, video, and media ministries. The media ministry would consist of the church website, newsletter, radio, television, general advertisement). To set up and oversee the elements for the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Hebrews 13:15; Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 11:23-34; Matthews 28:19; Acts 2:42).
